Explore AbiliTec, LiveRamp's robust offline identity resolution service.

The AbiliTec API is a secure, real-time interface that provides direct access into AbiliTec, LiveRamp's industry-leading offline identity resolution service.

When you send PII-based consumer or place data via the AbiliTec API, AbiliTec attempts to match that data to records in the AbiliTec Identity Graph and then returns AbiliTec identifiers for each record, as well as other information about the record and how the match was performed. This gives platforms and the marketers they work with the ability to connect and update what they know about consumers, resolving PII data across enterprise databases and systems, to deliver a better customer experience in a privacy-conscious manner.

Depending on the type of input data you want to send (whether plaintext PII, hashed PII, or an AbiliTec identifier), several endpoints are available to call via the API.

Depending on the type of data you want returned (whether info about people, places, households, or entities), you specify the document class for each API call.

The data that is returned can include AbiliTec identifiers, as well as metadata about the record and how the match was performed. This data is organized into data bundles. You can choose to either receive all data bundles that you have access to, or you can specify certain bundles if you want to receive only a subset of the data bundles that you have access to.

Calls can be made as either single requests (for an individual record) or batch requests (for multiple records).

Information can be returned in one of several formats: json (the default format), xml, or html.
